J Ravichandran appointed as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of National Stock Exchange of India :- 

• તેઓ આ પદ પર નવા CEO ની નિમણુંક ના થાય ત્યાં સુધી રહેશે.
• NSE વિશે :- આ સ્ટોક એક્ષચેન્જની શરૂઆત દેશના પ્રથમ ઇલેક્ટ્રોનિક એક્સચેન્જ તરીકે વર્ષ 1992 થી થઇ હતી. તેની સ્થાપથી તે ભારત નું એકમાત્ર અત્યાધુનિક સ્ટોક એક્ષચેન્જ બન્યું હતું.
• NSEનો મુખ્ય ઈન્ડેક્સ, NIFTY 50, 51 સ્ટોક ઇન્ડેક્સ (51 સિક્યોરિટીઝ ડીવીઆર સહિત 50 કંપનીઓ)નો ભારત અને સમગ્ર વિશ્વમાં રોકાણકારો દ્વારા ભારતીય મૂડી બજારમાં એક બેરોમીટર તરીકે વ્યાપક ઉપયોગ થાય છે.
• આ પહેલા આ પદ ઉપર ચિત્રા રામક્રિષ્ના હતા.

WCD Ministry strengthening technical support to ICDS to ensure nutrition outcomes in ISSNIP States

The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD)  અને Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) વચ્ચે Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) કરાવામાં આવ્યો

આ MoC માતાની ગર્ભાવસ્થા અને બાળકના જન્મ બાદ 2 વર્ષ  સુધી પોષણ મળી રહે તે માટે રાષ્ટ્રીય અને રાજ્ય સ્તરે મદદ કરશે.

 The main features of the MoC are as under:-

આ MoC નાં મુખ્ય કાર્યો નીચે મુજબના છે.

• Design, development and deployment of Integrated Child Development Services - Common Application Software (ICDS-CAS) to drive the Information and Communication Technology enabled Real Time Monitoring (ICT-RTM) solutions for improving and strengthening ICDS Service Delivery System.
• Technical support and Knowledge management support to strengthen human resource capabilities at various levels in order to deliver effective nutrition interventions.
• Provide technical inputs to the MWCD’s on-going and planned programs related to nutrition.
• Support the Ministry in developing a shared national communications campaign for maternal and child nutrition among target populations.

  આ MoU આઠ રાજ્યો  Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh માં લાગું પડશે.

તાજેતરમાં નેધરલેન્ડ  અને બેલ્જીયમ વછે Meuse(મેયુસ)  નદીને લઈને સંધી થઇ.

• આ સંધિ થી નેધરલેન્ડ નો વિસ્તાર વધશે અને બેલ્જીયમ નો વિસ્તાર  ઘટશે . 
• આ સંધિનું કારણ નદીના પ્રવાહની દિશામાં ફેરફારના પરિણામે કરવાની જરૂર પડી. 
• આ એક ઇતિહાસમાં એક શાંતિપૂર્ણ વાટાઘાટો થી પણ સમસ્યાનું સમાધાન થઇ શકે છે તેમ સાબિત કરી બતાવ્યું.
• આ નદીનો ઉદ્ભવ ફ્રાંસમાં થાય છે અને અંતે નોર્થ સી(North Sea) માં ભળે છે.

SPORTS

• ગોલ્ફમાં પેનાસોનિક ઓપન જીતનાર મુકેશ કુમાર ૫૧ વર્ષની વયે પેનાસોનિક ઓપન જીતનાર સૌથી મોટી ઉમરના એશીયાઇ ટુર ખેલાડી બન્યા.

• ઇથોપિયા ની અલ્માઝ આયના અને જમૈકા નો ઉસેન બોલ્ટ વિશ્વના ૨૦૧૬ નાં શ્વ્રેષ્ઠ એથ્લેટીક્સ બન્યા.

• અલ્માઝ આયના અને ઉસેન બોલ્ટ દોડની રમત સાથે સંકળાયેલ છે .

આ વર્ષની વર્લ્ડ રોબોટ ઓલમ્પયાડ-૨૦૧૬ નું યજમાન ભારત બનશે. 

• આ વર્ષનું સ્લોગન રહેશે “ Rap The Scrap”.
  

• આ સ્પર્ધામાં ૯ થી ૨૫ વર્ષના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ભાગ લઇ શકે છે.

• આ સ્પર્ધાની શરૂઆત ૨૦૦૪ માં મલેશિયા માં યોજાઈ હતી. ગયા વર્ષે આ સ્પર્ધા કતાર માં યોજાઈ  હતી. ૨૦૧૭ માં સ્પર્ધા કોસ્ટારિકા માં અને ત્યારબાદ ૨૦૧૮ માં આ સ્પર્ધા ડેન્માર્ક માં યોજાશે.

• આ વર્ષે આ સ્પર્ધાનું આયોજન  India STEM Foundation દ્વારા થશે.
